Reno Chamber Orchestra leaders have thrown caution to the wind to plan an imaginative musical line-up.
The Reno Chamber Orchestra has been delivering music to the Truckee Meadows for more than 32 years, but few have been as eventful as its past four. The following is a list of upcoming performances to be enjoyed in 2006 and 2007.

March 10 and 11: Warren: Didgeridoo Concerto (World Premiere); Sculthorpe: From Ubirr (American Premiere); Schubert: Symphony No. 8 Unfinished; College Concerto Competition winner
April 14 and 15: Salieri: Sinfonia; Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante; Martinu: Toccata e due canzoni; Handel: Royal Fireworks Music
Note: All shows are held at 8 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at Nightingale Concert Hall on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Pre-concert talks start one hour prior to show time. Nevada Chamber Music Festival
This year’s festival will feature eight concerts between Dec. 28 and 31. A transferable, all-access pass is available for $160 general, $148 for seniors, and $60 for full-time students. Tickets to individual concerts range from $15 to $40 general, $15 to $37 for seniors, and $7.50 to $15 for full-time students. For tickets or additional information, call 348-9413.
